The Andalus Cycle Completed…

The Andalus Cycle Completed…

From the hills of Andalucía… where olive roots drink from Moorish waterlines, and dusk remembers every hand that set the stone… Tim Doherty has set down the pen along with the burdens of modern society… and completed The Andalus Cycle.

Three scrolls, one living arc:

The Lantern Path — the path in.

Where myth, grief, and the living land braid together. It is a slow untying… a story told at the pace of breath and footfall, shadowed by timeless companions — the snail Tómas, the breath of Memoria, the watchful Papi Santísimo. Here, grief is not an ending but a lantern, casting its light over terraces, acequias, and olive groves that teach how to walk again. You begin thinking it is a book… and end realizing you have been walking the whole time.

Sacred Pathways — the center stone.

Where the pilgrim’s steps align with the breath of the land. Threads of memory, love, and loss are gathered into a road that can only be walked with both hands open. In part autobiographical, it moves through walks with Angie and their dogs in the foothills of the Sierras, the wide dehesa, and the Costa Tropical. In these pages, the land becomes both mirror and guide… teaching the quiet cartography of love, endurance, and return.

The Heartwood Psalms — the breath between.

A devotional core, a collection of breath-held prayers and anchored verse that steady both myth and method. Rooted in the heartwood of lived experience, it speaks from the still center, where memory, vow, and mercy are kept.

They are not simply books. They are companions.

They are a structure that survives silence.

If you have been waiting for a sign. If you have been walking in circles without knowing where to turn…

The Cycle is here.

The Andalus Cycle — the path in, the center stone, the breath between. Selah.
